printMAX win Roland EMEA Challenge Cup

December 09, 2022

As a fantastic end to 2022, Roland DG has revealed printMAX as the winner of its EMEA Challenge Cup. This is based on the number of Roland printers installed with Roland’s DG Connect software, designed to make every Roland user’s experience that little bit easier.

DG Connect is a free app for Roland users which monitors the health of the printer. It helps users to get a detailed understanding of the entire print operation, whilst continuing to deliver optimum print performance to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.

DG Connect, like the full Roland range, celebrates ease of use, offering a carefully designed dashboard, providing software update notifications and regular health checks.

“When Roland introduced the EMEA Challenge Cup competition, the printMAX team came together to continue supporting the Roland brand, but more importantly our customers. The competition celebrated the amount of machine installs with DG Connect pre-loaded for the customer. It was essential for us as our technical team are always working to ensure the end user has the very best experience.” Michael Bolton, printMAX Managing Director.

When it comes to Roland products, this isn’t the first achievement for the Hampshire based reseller this year, as they celebrated the first European sales of the latest generation of the Roland TrueVIS print and cut devices earlier this year.

The continued assistance provided by the sales staff along with the training and advice offered in association with Roland resulted in printMAX maintaining high sales figures during a potentially tough year.

Managing Director of printMAX, Michael Bolton states he was, “thrilled to have been announced as the leading supplier for DG Connect in EMEA. All of us at printMAX are very proud of the hard work put in over the last 12 months to ensure we were able to help new customers realise the potential that the Roland product range could help them achieve within their print business. But even more importantly to continue to support the loyal customer base we already have.”

Regarding what the future holds for the printMAX and Roland partnership, Michael Bolton added, “I am confident that over the next year we can do what it takes to continue to lead in the sector, and my thanks go to all our customers, both old and new, for supporting the business and allowing us to continue achieving these great results.”

With printMAX setting out to continue this winning streak, the ethos of “exceeding expectation” is sure to play a major role in their future success.
