CMYUK has upgraded to the new Spectro LFP qb Textile edition automated reflection and transmission spectrophotometer from Barbieri. Designed specifically for the automatic colour measurement of digitally printed textiles, this device shares the same technology root as the original Barbieri Spectrophotometer but with new dedicated software and accessories.

VMGS (Visual Marketing and Graphic Services) has installed a Mimaki UJV55-320 UV LED printer, Kongsberg X24 Edge digital cutting table and a Graphtec FC 9000-160 cutting plotter from CMYUK.

Its client, Lucas UK, a leading fit out and finishing business in the construction industry, was only too pleased to utilise an eco-responsible material for this venture.

Hollywood Monster has debuted its first commercial job using the PONGS® DESCOR® track system from Arkutex, the surface textiles division of CMYUK.

Newbury-based Paramount4 has invested in a Mimaki UCJV300 -160 printer cutter from CMYUK. Installed in December 2022, this 1.6m wide UV LED roll-to-roll printer will be used for the output of vinyl graphics. It joins a Mimaki UJV55 – 320 UV LED 3.2m roll printer and Easymount laminator also purchased from CMYUK. The new equipment replaces HP, Jetrix, and Roland equipment.

Ainsley Signs has invested in a Canon Colorado 1650 UVgel roll printer from CMYUK. The printer was purchased expressly to boost the throughput times of its banner production. It follows close on the heels of a Kongsberg X24 Digital Cutting Table installation, also purchased from CMYUK last year.

CMYUK has taken delivery of the Mimaki JFX600-2513 UV LED production flatbed printer at its demonstration and training facility in Shrewsbury.

Stafford-based Sapphire Curtains & Graphics has invested in an EFI VUTEk Q3r printer from CMYUK. This new UV LED dedicated roll-to-roll printer with a maximum print width of 3.5m is set to modernise the company’s production methods and optimise future growth.

Rocket Graphics has installed an EFI VUTEk 5r+ UV LED 5m roll-to-roll printer from CMYUK. This new investment further increases its production firepower to service the robust growth and increased demand of the post-COVID business environment.

Standard 8 has invested in a Konsgberg X24 Edge from CMYUK. The new digital cutting table will be used primarily to handle the company’s growing acrylic work.

Gloucester-based Pip and Chip has purchased a Mimaki JFX200-2513 EX flatbed from CMYUK. This 8 x4 ft, UV LED flatbed joins an existing Mimaki UJV-6042 MKII printer and 2 x Trotec Speedy laser cutting and engraving machines. Both Mimakis will share the workload of primarily printing acrylic bobbins that hold a wide variety of coloured threads used for cross stitching.

Ottimo Digital has invested in a Kongsberg C60 digital cutting table and Mimaki UCJV300-160 print and cut printer from CMYUK.

imageData Group has ordered an EFI VUTEk Q5r UV LED dedicated roll-to-roll printer. Due for installation in December, this 5m wide industrial powerhouse is set to take its place on the production frontline, where it will replace a ten-year-old Durst printer.

Telford-based TF Signs has installed an Epson SureColor SC-F6300 (hdK) dye-sublimation printer from CMYUK. Together with a platen heat press, it was purchased initially to aid production of team apparel for the British male and female teams competing at this years’ FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE), regarded as one of the world’s most prestigious off-road motorcycle competitions.

Nerdy Banana, the digital online agency that produces unique printed giftware, has invested in a Mimaki UJV100-160 from CMYUK.

The Printed Gift House has taken delivery of a Mimaki UCJV300-160 UV LED roll-to-roll printer from CMYUK. The investment has been made so that the company can extend its services to a B2B customer base through its new brand, Printing X. It has plans to move into a new business park premises, where its physical presence will help support its sales focus in this area.

CMYUK is to make consignment stock holding a standard offering to all its UK customers.* Palletised consignment shipments are available to those organisations that have large internal repositories, while those lacking space will be given a free bespoke shelf racked container for the external storage of roll materials. These are condensation-proof, secure, and can hold material rolls up to 5m wide.

Cactus Graphics, formerly known as Buckland Media, has invested in a new Mimaki UJF-6042 MkII e from CMYUK. The UV LED flatbed that includes the Kebab option, was initially purchased to fulfil a UK-based printing solution for a customer offering a wide variety of signage poles.

CMYUK has announced its last Open House double day event for 2022. On 23rd and 24th November, the company will open the doors of its Shrewsbury-based demonstration and training facility to new and existing customers eager to explore the profitable possibilities of digital wide format print production.
