TTS opens new, modern and completely energy-neutral business premises

April 18, 2019

TTS (Texo Trade Services), the specialist in transfer print media and large-format printable textiles, officially opened its new company premises on Friday 12 April. These newly built premises, located on the Gouwe Park business estate in Moordrecht, have an area of 6,000 m2and are completely energy-neutral. With these premises, TTS is fully ready for the future!

Major growth

After 10 years in its former premises in Waddinxveen, TTS was almost literally bursting at the seams. With a doubling of the workforce, a rapidly expanding circle of international clients and a quadrupling of turnover in ten years, relocation to bigger premises had become unavoidable. In addition, space is quite literally necessary in order to stay ahead in service and innovation. Of the 6,000 m2 of floor area, 5,000 m2 is devoted to 12-metre high warehousing and operational space, and the remaining 1,000 m2 consists of offices and the demo centre.

Festive opening, ready for the future

During the festive opening on Friday 12 April, TTS personnel raised a glass together with clients, suppliers, other business relations and family members. Director Floris-Jan van den Heuvel expressed his thanks to everyone who has contributed to the marvellous growth and success of TTS. He also said that he is looking forward to the future. “We expect that the market for digital textile printing will continue to grow worldwide. Particularly in segments like retail and stand construction, more and more textiles will be used. But also companies which print textiles for the fashion or interior design segments are moving over to digital production. Beyond that, the applications for digital sublimation printing are continuing to grow in the market for promotional sales items. Think in terms of mugs, hand towels, key cords and floor mats. These premises offer us more storage capacity and an efficient warehouse, enabling us to operate more quickly and at lower costs, and respond to the growing demand from the market. In short, we are ready for the future!”

Doing business sustainably in the heart of the Randstad

During the opening, the TTS staff gave guests a guided tour of the new premises, which are located right in the heart of the Randstad: in the Gouwe Park business estate in Moordrecht. This estate is strategically located at the junction of the A20 and A12 motorways. As a modern organisation, TTS wants to do business as sustainably as possible. That is why the new premises are completely energy-neutral. This is made possible through the application of underfloor heating, air circulation with heat exchangers and very good insulation in combination with solar panels.

New services, a step up in speed and efficiency

In recent decades, TTS has grown enormously in terms of digitally-printable textile media for visual communication, digital sublimation paper and silk-screen transfer paper. In its new premises, TTS has the space to continue satisfying demand and to grow still further in this. There is room to bring certain production stages in-house. As a result, customers will find that TTS is a one-stop-shop from now on. In the new sample production facility, clients will be provided with samples more quickly and easily, which will further benefit the service provision. Another new feature is the demo centre, with various Mimaki printers, Monti calendars and heat presses. Here, TTS can test new products and bring them to market faster. Besides that, a loading dock ensures that containers and trucks can be handled more quickly and efficiently.

TTS’s new address is Oostbaan 601, 2841 ML Moordrecht.
