Epson today announced its first industrial direct-to-garment printer – the SureColor® F3070. Designed to provide low total cost of ownership (TCO) and reliability for exceptional performance and savings in high-production print shop environments, the SureColor F3070 is Epson’s first direct-to-garment printer to leverage dual printhead technology and a bulk ink pack system, providing remarkably low ink cost and minimized waste compared to Epson cartridge systems. It touts all new automatic garment height adjustment and easy user maintenance features to increase production and reduce downtime for garment print shops creating custom apparel. The new printer will be on display in Epson’s booth (#2049) at Impressions Expo in Long Beach, Calif. from Jan. 17-19, 2020.

Fisher Textiles, the leading supplier of fabrics for digital printing, has added five new apparel fabrics to its Digital Apparel lineup for dye sublimation printing. All styles are made in the USA and include a printable t-shirt, golf polo, light hoodie, fleece and a black poly/spandex blend for yoga pants and swimwear.

Epson has announced the launch of its new 64-inch, dye-sublimation printers, the SureColor SC-F9430 and SC-F9430H digital textile printers. The printers have been developed to deliver outstanding quality and high-volume printing, for sports apparels, fashion apparel, home decorations, outdoor signage as well as other printed merchandise.

Kornit Digital (Nasdaq: KRNT), a worldwide market leader in digital textile printing technology, announced that GEAR for Sports, a division of Hanesbrands Inc., has installed a Kornit Avalanche Poly Pro system to supplement previously-implemented Kornit Digital direct-to-garment (DTG) print systems within the company’s Lenexa, Kansas production facility.

Technology vs knowledge

After working for technology companies for the last 35+ years i decided to do it differently this time. I decided that sharing is better than keeping information to yourself. Specially in our printing industry and textile markets, knowledge is kept close to the heart. Just in case the competitor is looking, might steal my idea or whatever reasoning you would like to come up with.

Transforming the famed ballroom at Mayfair’s iconic Claridges hotel into an Italian Palazzo for a Greek couple’s wedding was a piece of cake for special events company Kudos AV.

Kornit Digital (Nasdaq: KRNT), a worldwide market leader in digital textile printing technology, announced that OnPoint Manufacturing, an innovative leader in on-demand personalized apparel manufacturing, will be implementing Kornit Presto as a cornerstone of its manufacturing optimization efforts. The direct-to-fabric digital print system will be installed at the business’s Florence, Alabama facility.

“We’ve bought the right machine at the right time. You walk around retail and with every step you take all you see is fabric,” says Dan Pitts, Director at KGK Print Group. The machine he’s referring to is the company’s latest acquisition - an EFI VUTEk FabriVU 340 dye sublimation printer.
