St Albans based signage and printing company Slam Signs has invested in a four-colour SureColor SC-S40600 wide format printer. It is the company’s third SureColor - it has owned a SC-S30600 since its launch in 2012 and purchased its eight-colour SC-S70600 in 2015.

Roland DG has has launched a new, cross-EMEA initiative designed to connect with its customers; the #WithRoland blog series focusses on providing users with informative and insightful content.

With a base of consistent and loyal customers, along with new business and contracts, Manchester based Ainsley Signs faced the production bottleneck that is seen so often in the print business. In order to maintain its existing workload and confidently secure new business, the company would need to invest in a new wide format printer. Roland DG has announced that Axiya Signs is the grand prize winner of its ‘Scratch & Win’ prize draw from Sign & Digital UK 2016 and has won a Roland TrueVIS VG-540 wide format printer.

Roland DG (UK) has unveiled plans to launch what it calls the next generation of wide format flatbed printers at Sign & Digital UK next week. Designed with production versatility in mind, the VersaUV LEJ-640FT offers businesses the size and functionality of a flatbed with the flexibility of ECO-UV inks, including Gloss and White for luxury effects and textures.

This is why OKI Europe Wide Format Division has decided to extend its warranty term to three years for its ColorPainter M-64s and ColorPainter H3-104s wide format inkjet printers from 1st April 2016.

According to the InfoTrends 2015 Quarterly Wide-Format Tracking Shipping report, Roland DG shipped more units than any other manufacturer in the 30-inch and up category and as such has been recognised as the leading wide format printer manufacturer in the durable graphics market for 2015.

Roland DG has launched a new generation of advanced wide format, eco-solvent inkjet printer/cutters to be released under the TrueVIS brand name. The TrueVIS VG-640/540 64” and 54” printer/cutters made their debut at FESPA Digital last week and can be seen in the UK at Sign & Digital UK next month.

Epson says it is planning to launch a new smaller footprint 44” SC-P10000 printer at Drupa 2016. This follows in the footsteps of the recently launched 64” SC-P20000. The company says both models are easy to operate and produce accurate, high quality, large-format photos, POS items and signage - even at fast speeds.

Mutoh says its high performance 64” ValueJet 1638X and 102” 2638X printer models along with its Mutoh + 3M Universal Mild Solvent Inks have been added to 3M’s MCS (Matched Component System) Warranty program for finished graphics.
