Mutoh Europe nv, a subsidiary of Mutoh Industries Co. Ltd., Japan, has announced introduction of the Mutoh XpertJet 1462UF in the EMEA market.   This 6-colour (C, M, Y, K, White, Varnish) UV LED flatbed direct-to-object printer with moving gantry has a table size of 1,420 mm (55.9”) x 700 mm (27.5”) and can print onto objects up to 150 mm (5.91”) thick.   The print table integrates a four zone vacuum bed, supporting weights up to 50 kg/m².

Birmingham-based design, print, and marketing solutions provider WisePrint Solutions has praised the impact of its new ColorJet Verve 2513 flatbed LED UV printer from Quality Print Services (QPS), revealing the machine has helped increase productivity and efficiency and allowed the company to expand its offering in the profitable events sector.

Canon’s wide format production printing technologies have again been recognised in the annual PRINTING United Alliance Pinnacle Awards, with six Pinnacle Product Awards and one Pinnacle Technology Award. The Colorado M-series was the winner in the Roll-to-Roll/Hybrid/Flatbed New Technology category, while the Arizona 135 GT, 1380 GTF, 1380 XTF, 2380 GTF and 2380 XTF made a clean sweep by winning each of their five respective UV/Latex Flatbed categories.
