Lest We Forget

November 14, 2018

As we mark the 100 year anniversary of the WWI Armistice, Signs Express (York) were privileged to work with Whitkirk Waste Solutions Ltd on their wonderful vehicle graphics in support of Help For Heroes.
Staff at Whitkirk’s have chosen Help For Heroes as their Charity of the Year for 2019 so decided to decorate one of their livery on a new Mercedes tractor unit and vacuum tanker in honour of the marking the centenary of the end of World War I.

To commemorate the First World War Centenary, Signs Express (Central Lancashire) assisted Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in installing a 5:1 replica of the Menin Gate memorial flowered in over 30,000 hand-knitted poppies.

Established in 1989 and celebrating their 30th anniversary next year, Signs Express has developed into the largest network of sign production centres in the UK and is growing at its fastest rate in more than 10 years. The addition of a centre opening in Salisbury is the fourth new centre the franchise has opened this year making a total of 67 centres across the UK.

Signs Express (Harlow) was recently approached by local Harlow artist Sally Gorham to help bring her Remembrance Day tribute to life by supplying printed vinyl poppies for the proposed exhibit at the Gibberd Gallery.

The task was to create a way of getting brand exposure onto a 25,000 sq. ft of warehousing space. A daunting challenge but one which Signs Express (Stoke) accepted and excelled at.
