Wallace Print create Alumigraphic Footprints to raise awareness for the new Barbican Low Emission Walk

This fantastic project for the City of London, to support the upcoming National Clean Air Week campaign aimed to raise awareness for the new Barbican Low Emission Walk, required a way of highlighting the clean air route to the general public.

The challenge would be using a material that would allow the City of London to mark a path on the ground and walls that would be suitable for a mixture of internal and external walls and floors. Surfaces included brick wall, pavement slabs, smooth concrete, tiles, block paving and tarmac road.

The artworks consisted of mainly foot print floor graphics and a series of arrows and roundels for use on walls. We proposed using Alumigraphic Grip, a versatile aluminium based floor and wall graphic adhesive backed product which performs on both internal and external surfaces whether they be flat of textured.

The install of the Alumigraphic floor graphics and wall graphics was carried out along the marked route for the Barbican Low Emission walk and surrounding London areas to direct people to it.
