AIPIA, a worldwide association promoting high tech packaging solutions, has announced that its member Thin Film Electronics, in conjunction with global drinks company Diageo, has launched a fully printed Near Field Communication (NFC) sensor tag known as OpenSense, designed for use on bottles to authenticate the contents or to indicate if its seal has been broken.
