Ricoh has announced that the company has reached an agreement to buy LAC Corporation (hereafter “LAC”), a company with unique inkjet technology that supports printing on three-dimensional surfaces e.g. on the sides of cars, trucks, aircraft and even tyres and glass bottles. This acquisition is aimed at strengthening Ricoh’s industrial printing business, which is one of its three growth strategies. The transfer of the shares is scheduled to complete on October 31, 2018.

XJet Ltd., the additive manufacturing company, opened the doors of a new cutting-edge Additive Manufacturing Center today. Ricoh USA, Inc. has announced that VISOgraphic, an Illinois-based commercial and digital print provider, has further expanded its digital footprint and its relationship with Ricoh by adding a RICOH Pro C9210 Graphic Arts Edition sheet-fed color press. The C9210 offers VISOgraphic a competitive edge, with speeds up to 135 pages per minute (ppm) on stocks up to 49 inches long and 470 gsm or 24 point thickness. This latest addition builds on Ricoh and VISOgraphic's close relationship, which included the installation of multiple platforms of the C9210's predecessor technology, the RICOH Pro C9110, to expand VISOgraphic's initial move into the digital print space. Ricoh USA, Inc. have announced that GAM Graphics and Marketing, a full-service design, print and communication firm, has added a RICOH Pro C7210X to its operations.
