With thousands of visitors from across the signage, digital print, display, design and commercial print sectors expected to attend Sign & Digital UK on 24 - 26 April, the SDUK team has committed to significantly increasing the feature and content areas at the 2018 show to help visitors increase their knowledge and learn new skills.

The La Digital Impser story has three milestones: one of them was in 1998, when digital print business La Digital was founded, and another was some decades earlier, when Impser, a respected screen printing company, was started. The third milestone was reached several years ago, when the two companies combined to become La Digital Impser. The company now employs twenty people and, offering a complete service to its clients from consultation to production to finishing, it prides itself on being much more than just a printing company.

Delegates to this year’s FESPA Berlin, 15 to 18 May, will get the chance to experience an innovative new workflow demonstration, courtesy of the new SportsFactory booth. Over an area of 250 m2, a group of market-leading print businesses will be demonstrating a full production workflow for the creation of customized football jerseys – with perfect timing to capture World Cup fever. The production facility will showcase products from Caldera, MS Printing Solutions, JK Group, Monti Antonio and Zund. In keeping with the sporting theme, Dover Digital Printing is acting as sponsor to the initiative.

Color-Logic has certified the HP Indigo 6900 digital press with silver ink for label and packaging applications. Confirming the certification, Color-Logic Director of Sales and Marketing Mark Geeves said: "Silver ink on the HP Indigo 6900 press, when used with the Color-Logic Process Metallic Color System, yields great advantages for brands requiring labels or shrink film packaging. Combining the two technologies produces as many as 250 metallic colors and a virtually unlimited variety of decorative effects for enhancing and protecting products."
