Color Logic took metallics to the Xerox Premier Partners Congress in Vilamoura, Portugal, in mid-May 2019. Mark Geeves, Color-Logic Director of Sales and Marketing, describing the forum, said: "Color-Logic was honored to have been selected by Xerox as a Premier Partner for the event. As a first-time exhibitor, Color-Logic demonstrated to Xerox Iridesse printers how their graphic designers, advertising agency customers, and brands can fully utilize the Iridesse press to create a vast array of decorative effects."

Color Logic has certified Folex Silver Polyester cut sheet metallic substrate for use with the Color-Logic process on HP Indigo presses.

Color-Logic has certified swissQprint UV inkjet printers with white for use with the Color-Logic metallic process. Discussing the printer certification.

GAM (Graphics and Marketing)--a full service design, print, and communication company in Northern Virginia--is the first certified Color-Logic printer in North America using a Ricoh Pro 7200 Series printer. Discussing the printer certification, Color-Logic Director of Sales and Marketing Mark Geeves said: "The samples submitted by GAM were spot on and correctly created all Color-Logic decorative effects. GAM purchased the Color-Logic Premium Plus License, which makes the Color-Logic Design Suite and FX-Viewer available not only to the GAM internal design team, but to as many as ten GAM clients. As a result, GAM can sell the Color-Logic process into ad agencies and design firms with their own captive design teams. GAM clearly understands the value of marketing the Color-Logic process, and agrees with the Color-Logic philosophy that All Print Starts With Design."

The Graphic Design Department at Dunwoody College of Technology in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is the latest graphic design school to receive a copy of the Color-Logic Process Metallic Color System software.

Color-Logic was one of only six selected Heidelberg partners participating in the Heidelberg Digital Print Forum 2019 in Wiesloch, Germany, on 21 March. At the proprietary exhibition, Color-Logic demonstrated how graphic designers can effectively utilize the white and neon toners now available on the exciting new Heidelberg Versafire EP digital press. At the Heidelberg demonstration center, some of the most important Heidelberg customers and prospects learned from Color-Logic executives how to apply the Color-Logic design tools to the latest in digital print. Key technologies being demonstrated included the popular Color-Logic Process Metallic Color software being used in conjunction with Heidelberg white toners, and Touch7 Photo tools for utilizing the new Heidelberg neon toners.

Color-Logic has certified the HP Latex R2000 Printer with white ink. Discussing the printer certification, Color-Logic Director of Sales and Marketing Mark Geeves said: "The versatility of the HP Latex engine with white ink on a metallic substrate, in combination with the Color-Logic color communication system and design tools for embellishment, is a game changer for printers. Prints from the HP Latex engine are incredible and open up vast new markets and applications for Color-Logic software in point-of-purchase and signage markets. The test form file on metallic stock submitted for certification provided an extensive metallic color gamut. Moreover, the white ink, in conjunction with the Color-Logic Design Suite, properly displayed all Color-Logic decorative effects and embellishments."

Xerox Mexico included the Color-Logic Process Metallic Color System in their #BeBrilliant launch at Expo Grafica last week in Mexico City. Discussing the successful Expo Grafica event, Color-Logic Director of Sales and Marketing Mark Geeves said: "This was the first showing of Color-Logic at a major show in Mexico, and the software was received with acclaim. The combination of the Xerox Iridesse press, Xerox silver and white dry inks on metallic substrates, and Color-Logic design tools showed the audience the many new applications now available in the Mexican market. The Xerox Iridesse press and Color-Logic design tools, together create product differentiation, higher margins, significant savings of time and materials, and dramatically reduced time-to-market."

Color-Logic has named UBEO its first certified dealer in Texas. Discussing the dealer certification, Color-Logic Director of Sales and Marketing Mark Geeves said: "UBEO is a market leader in the printing equipment space, providing business technology integration across Texas and having recently expanded nationally. A dealer for both Xerox and Ricoh, UBEO recently added Color-Logic to its product portfolio. The design embellishments and time-saving software procedures provided by Color-Logic will assist UBEO particularly well in sales of the Xerox Iridesse and Ricoh Pro C7200X. With Color-Logic, UBEO customer will instantly realize more net revenue and higher margins."

Color-Logic has named AxiDoc the first certified dealer for Color-Logic in France. Discussing the dealer certification, Color-Logic Director of Sales and Marketing Mark Geeves said: "AxiDoc is a dealer in Southern France for Xerox digital presses and Epson inkjet engines--both of which are compatible with the Color-Logic Process Metallic Color System. AxiDoc has a highly respected sales and marketing team, and actively promotes the manufacturers they represent. AxiDoc also provides clients with access to skilled application specialists who can fully demonstrate Color-Logic tools with Adobe CC/CS and who are certified in working with the EFI Fiery RIPs."

Color-Logic has announced the certification of the Durst Tau 330 RSC UV label and package printer. Discussing the certification, Color-Logic Director of Sales and Marketing Mark Geeves said: "The Durst Tau 330 RSC recently passed all Color-Logic certification criteria, and buyers may be assured the printer can accurately reproduce all Color-Logic special effects and metallic embellishments on their labels and packages."

The Xerox stand at the C!Print show in Lyon, France, was an outstanding venue for Color-Logic and Color-Logic dealer AxiDoc. Discussing the show, Color-Logic Director of Sales and Marketing Mark Geeves said: "Until the 2019 C!Print show, Color-Logic had never been demonstrated at a French exposition, and feedback from visitors to the Xerox stand was amazing. The Color-Logic dealer in France, AxiDoc, was busy the entire show distributing printed samples produced on the Xerox Iridesse press using silver and white dry toners."

Kernowprint Metalik silver media is the first Kernow substrate certified by Color-Logic for the Xerox Iridesse press. Discussing the certification, Color-Logic Director of Sales and Marketing Mark Geeves said: "The Iridesse Press with White Dry Ink consistently produces impressive images on Kernow Metalik silver media. The entire range of Color-Logic decorative effects, in addition to the 250 standard Color-Logic metallic colors, offer Iridesse users the ability to develop new markets and applications for their customers."

Intertype, a premier printer in Australia, recently installed a Fuji Xerox Iridesse press and became the first printer worldwide to utilize the Color-Logic process on this press. Discussing the installation, Color-Logic Director of Sales and Marketing Mark Geeves said: "Color-Logic is fast becoming the preferred process of Iridesse press users around the world. Intertype previously used Color-Logic on a Fuji Xerox Color 1000i press, so the transition to their new Fuji Xerox Iridesse was effortless. The company finds many customers for their metallic print offerings."

John E Wright Ltd has installed the new Iridesse Production Press from Xerox speciality dealer Zerographics in a move that will generate creative excitement within the local Nottingham design community.

Wallace Carlson Printing--a full-service commercial/packaging printer in Minnetonka, Minnesota, USA--recently received two silver awards in the 2018 Printing Impressions Gold Ink Awards competition. The winning entries--Merry-Go-Round Self Promotion in the Packaging and Folding Carton category, and Color Chrome M/FX Swatchbook in the Sample Books and Swatchbooks category--were both produced using the Color-Logic metallic color process. Announcing the awards, Wallace Carlson COO Charlie Cox said: "The outstanding metallic special effects made possible with our Color-Logic software simply wowed the awards judges--just as they wow our clients and bring in profitable new business. Licensing the Color-Logic process is one of the best procurement moves Wallace Carson has made in a long time."

Color-Logic has certified the Skandacor SLEEKpro™cold foil system. "The Skandacor printed test results of the Color-Logic test form files were stellar," stated Color-Logic CTO Richard Ainge. "The decorative effects and colors produced using the Skandacor cold foil system will enable Skandacor printers to differentiate what they can provide their clients."

Color-Logic has certified the Xerox EX-P 6 Print Server Powered by Fiery® for the Xerox Iridesse Production Press. Discussing the certification, Color-Logic Director of Sales and Marketing Mark Geeves said: "The latest Xerox product enhancements and the new Xerox Iridesse press--shown at PRINT 18 in Chicago--enable graphic designers using the Color-Logic Process Metallic System to differentiate their products in ways previously unseen in print. The latest Xerox developments, combined with the Fiery DFE, provide printers with a platform that can truly differentiate digital print from conventional. Not only is the new Xerox Iridesse press a superb example of workflow automation in print, it enables graphic designers using the Color-Logic tools to take advantage of the latest silver and white dry inks from Xerox."

In a ceremony immediately preceding PRINT 18 in Chicago, the Color-Logic Touch7 Neon Suite was designed a RED HOT Technology. More importantly, the Touch7 Neon Suite received the coveted Vanguard Breakthrough Award, presented only to products considered 'game changers.' The Touch7 Neon Suite is one of only five entries to gain the recognition, and is one of only nine recognized products in the entire Vanguard program. Commenting on the award, Richard Ainge--Color-Logic CTO and the inventor of the Touch7 Neon Suite--observed: "In selecting Touch7, PRINT 18 management recognized the importance and timeliness of neon inks at the show. With Touch7, graphic designers can easily and confidently produce files to take advantage of the fluorescent inks just now entering the market."

HP Indigo and Color-Logic will join forces at PRINT 18 in Chicago to demonstrate how HP Indigo white ink, expanded color gamut inks, and fluorescent inks let graphic designers offer brands and product managers an unlimited array of special decorative effects and colors. At PRINT18 in Chicago, Ricoh and Color-Logic will collaborate to demonstrate how the latest Ricoh features--white toner and dynamic new neon colors on Ricoh 7200 presses--provide printers with the ability to show how digital printing outshines conventional processes.
