YPS is pleased to announce that Anthony Devine, Founder and Creative Director of Ministry of Upholstery and star of BBC's Money for Nothing programme, will be bringing his pioneering upholstery school to YPS on Stand E2 at this year’s Sign and Digital UK exhibition. Devine will be holding live workshops throughout each day to demonstrate how accessible upholstery production can be, with printed fabrics produced using Mimaki digital textile print technology.

CMYUK has announced the appointment of Brett Platt as Digital Textile Manager. The new position reflects the significant investment CMYUK is making in digital textiles across soft signage, home décor and fashion markets. With over 20 years of experience across every element of textiles, Platt is unique in his skillset and in this new role he promises to bring something special to the UK market that doesn’t currently exist.

Specialist print solutions manufacturer MTEX welcomed more than 60 business partners from around the globe to its annual summit in Porto, Portugal this month (3-4 October).

TTS (Texo Trade Services), the specialist in transfer print media and large-format printable textiles, has started on the construction of its new company premises. A doubling of the number of employees, a strongly-growing international client base, a quadrupling of turnover in the space of ten years and the desire to lead in service provision and innovation comprise the reason for the move. The modern, completely energy-neutral building of 6,000 m2 in size will be erected in the Gouwe Park industrial estate in Moordrecht, right in the bustling heart of the Randstad, and strategically situated at the Dutch A20/A12 intersection. After ten successful years at the Coenecoop business park in Waddinxveen, the expectation is that TTS will move in March 2019.

Mimaki has announced it is demonstrating the Rimslow Series; a complete, end-to-end digital textile and apparel printing ecosystem at FESPA 2018, scheduled for 15 to 18 May in Berlin. Kornit Digital, (NASDAQ: KRNT), a global market leader in digital textile printing innovation, has announced the introduction of the new Storm HD6 direct-to-garment printing system. The system will be unveiled at the Kornit stand A20 in 1.1 at FESPA Berlin with commercial availability expected for Q4 2018.
