High-performance Arlon polymeric wrap film added to the ever-growing William Smith portfolio

April 18, 2019

Arlon’s new polymeric Fusion Wrap film has been released to the industry and William Smith is proud to add the innovative material to its portfolio.

The industry’s thinnest and most conformable calendered film features advanced FLITE TechnologyTM and is the product of choice when cost-driven opportunities are presented, or shorter to medium-term durability is specified.

Fusion Wrap is a high-grade polymeric, 60-micron, white gloss film specifically designed for vehicle wraps. As it’s thin and flexible, the wrap facilitates ease of use and efficiency.

Thanks to FLITE TechnologyTM the film’s lite initial contact adhesive system ensures repositionability, developing an anchor tack that enables quick and effective installations.

Suitable for flat to simple curves, the digital film features low profile, air egress liner with a tinted, permanent, pressure-sensitive adhesive.

For the thinnest hybrid installation, it is recommended the film is paired with Series 3170 intermediate cast overlaminate, providing a wrap kit of 95-microns.

Chris Bradley, Head of Marketing at William Smith, said: “The film joins the Arlon FLITE family of products, which includes SLX™ Cast Wrap Film and IllumiNITE Wrap™.

“With a 7-year durability and offering superior conformability, the addition of Arlon Fusion Wrap to the Arlon range has cemented our commitment to supplying the UK with the best vinyl films on the market.”
