New multifunctional digital laser cutter and router means quality finishing for wider format display printing28 Feb 2018
Manchester Print Services have just installed a new Blackman and White VersaTech™ wide bed cutter/router to help cope with the growing demand for wider format digital printing. Although the company started just seven years ago, it has carved a niche for itself in the Point of Sale (POS) and exhibition and display printing markets which require printing on a wide range of substrates.
Cardboard cutting and creasing is a key way for sign and display companies to differentiate themselves and their services, and as such Blackman & White will use Sign & Digital UK to showcase the almost limitless options for packaging and display using its flatbed Versa-Tech laser/router/knife cutter together with its own Tiger Pack workflow software.
Nottingham-based display company Practical Minds has invested in a Versa Tech flatbed cutter from UK manufacturer Blackman & White. The move brings wide format print finishing in-house that was previously handled by outside suppliers.
NorthPoint Studios, one of the Baltimore/Washington area’s most prominent sign and display printers, has installed a VersaTech 1.6m X 3.2m (5’ X 10’) laser/cutter/router supplied by Milwaukee-based MCT Digital Inc. The U.S. partner of Blackman & White.
UK based Blackman & White designs and builds specialist digital cutting machines for businesses across the world, and its U.S. partner, Milwaukee based MCT Digital, has supplied Atlanta based The Color Spot with an MCT VersaTech 3.2 M X 3.2 M laser/router/cutter to offer digital finishing services across the region, in addition to its print capabilities.
