With the recent installation of a VUTEk FabriVU 340i, Hollywood Monster has now purchased 11 EFI VUTEk printers from CMYUK in a total investment approaching £5m.

Birmingham signage and graphics specialist Hollywood Monster has again turned to Zünd UK Ltd to help accelerate its production, in particular on a major contract with McDonald's.

Hollywood Monster invests in two new EFI VUTEk printers, gaining the ultimate in print quality performance, while scaling down the industry’s carbon footprint.

The UK’s first EFI VUTEk 5r printer has been installed at Hollywood Monster’s Birmingham headquarters. Supplied and installed by EFI distributor CMYUK in February 2017, the West Midlands-based display specialist selected the 5m-wide machine for its ability to meet the productivity levels required by its rapidly expanding retail customer base.

Hollywood Monster has helped Lego to to unveil its brand-new flagship store in Leicester Square. The new site is the toy company’s biggest store in the world and required 260 square metres of vinyl to stay hidden while construction work was in progress.

Ambitious growth plans and high profile clients wins have sparked changes at the top at signage giant Hollywood Monster, as Simon McKenzie takes up the role as managing director from Tim Andrews. This comes following the firms recent announcements, which include a new London office and a multimillion-pound contract with McDonald’s.

Hollywood Monster is one of the largest wide format printers and signage companies in Britain and is known for having completed projects across the country as well as Europe. Now the signage experts are expanding to London, starting with the formation of a business development team that serves solely clients in the capital.

Hollywood Monster has been named as a ‘preferred supplier’ to the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham, cementing the relationship between the two Midlands-based companies, and for the next two years, the firm will be providing printing and signage services for the Group’s venues, shows and events.
