Xaar PLC is pleased to announce that it will invest with Stratasys, a global leader in additive manufacturing, in a newly formed company, Xaar 3D Limited, to develop 3D printing solutions based on High Speed Sintering technologies. Xaar 3D Ltd will leverage the natural synergies between Xaar and Stratasys, specifically Xaar’s technology relating to High Speed Sintering and industrial piezo inkjet printheads, along with the commercial and market expertise of Stratasys.
Xaar, the world-leader in industrial inkjet technology, will give a presentation on its market-leading Xaar 1003 printhead at an upcoming open house event held by Dantex Group. The aim of the event is to demonstrate why digital label press technologies are the future of the labelling industry.
The Xaar 2001+ printhead with High Laydown (HL) Technology ensured Xaar enjoyed a highly successful Ceramics China 2018. A number of Xaar OEM partners at the show displayed printers containing the solution, underlining its continuing growth in popularity. More and more ceramic tile manufacturers around the world choose to adopt the printhead because it enables them to offer much more creative designs than ever before.
The combination of speed, quality and reliability of the Xaar 2001+ U printhead made it the ideal choice for Canon’s entry into the digital label printing market, with the launch of its Océ LabelStream 4000 press.
Xaar and its OEM partner, MapleJet, are leading the way in quality and sustainability for coding and marking onto corrugated boxes with the industrial Xaar 502 GS15 O inkjet printhead providing much larger print height and industrial robustness in the latest MapleJet ProDigit 70 printers.
