The first-ever Sportswear Pro event (IFEMA – Feria de Madrid, 24 – 27 March 2020) is building momentum, with an expanding line-up of participating exhibitors and official support from AFYDAD, the Spanish Sports Association.

FESPA has expanded its Board with the appointment of Daniel Sunderland to represent the Latin American region. The appointment was ratified by representatives of FESPA’s National Associations at the recent FESPA General Assembly in Lyon, France.

Fourth generation Birmingham signs makers HNS Signs are delighted to announce that they have been shortlisted for this year's ISA British Sign Awards. The awards recognise and reward outstanding work completed by UK-based sign makers over the last 12 months. Ironically, HNS have been nominated for a scheme that they created for a different organisation that is also involved in the promotion of signage and print industry! HNS provided a transformation of FESPAs atrium and other areas at their head office in Dorking.

For three days, the leading digital and textile printing exhibition in Mexico was held at the Citibanamex Center in Mexico City. The exhibition showcased the latest innovations and technologies of the printing industry in Latin America.

The Antalis Interior Design Award, established in 2017 by Antalis Europe’s leading distributor of paper and visual communication solutions, is a celebration of the use of visual media in interior design projects around the world.

FESPA has launched its visitor campaign for FESPA Global Print Expo 2020 and its co-located exhibitions, European Sign Expo 2020 and Sportswear Pro 2020, which will take place from 24th to 27th March 2020 at IFEMA – Feria de Madrid, Spain.

Vism and FESPA UK have announced they have joined forces to launch a unique industry event. The joint venture will include the inaugural UK Graphic Awards, celebrating the achievements of the wide format graphics printing and installation industry and Thrive in Print - a brand new conference dedicated to informing and educating wide format printing business managers and owners. The events will take place on consecutive days, Tuesday 8th and Wednesday 9th September, at a prestigious venue to be announced shortly.

Miguel Huitzil of VinilArt and Minilab was crowned the winner of the World Wrap Masters Mexico 2019 during FESPA Mexico 2019 which took place from 22nd August – 24th August.

FESPA Africa 2019 and Sign Africa will take place from the 11th – 13th September and will feature various educational features and conferences. Sponsored by Roland, the exhibition will be co-located with Africa Print, Africa LED and Modern Marketing.

FESPA Africa 2019 and Sign Africa will cover 13,000sqm and will feature over 150 exhibitors with over 6000 predicted visitors to attend. The exhibition will be held at Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg from 11th – 13th September 2019.

The 12th edition of FESPA Mexico will take place from 22nd – 24th August 2019 at Centro Citibanamex, Mexico City. FESPA Mexico is the leading exhibition in digital and textile printing in Mexico and Latin America.

CANAPA Paper Technologies, which participated in ITMA 2019 for the first time this year, introduced its range of sublimation papers developed and renewed in accordance with the requirements of textile manufacturers, to the visitors from all over the world.

A careful selection process for signage providers was made when FESPA looked to transform their entrance atrium at their UK Headquarters at Holmbury House in Dorking. Recently appointed Technical Support Manager, Graeme Richardson-Locke identified the issue, ‘The atrium is a great architectural space but lacked any of the essential character and personality of the industries that our members belong to’ he explained. The search began to find a creative signage company that could devise a wide-ranging solution that would both inspire their own staff who work in the building as well as provide a welcoming, interesting and engaging space for visitors; including their numerous members.

The FESPA Awards 2020 are now open to print service providers (PSPs) and sign-makers looking to highlight their outstanding examples of print.

European Sign Expo 2019, the dedicated event for non-printed signage and visual communications has continued its year-on-year growth achieving record visitor numbers to its seventh edition, which took place in Munich, Germany from 14 to 17 May.

At our AGM held in Melbourne on 19 June, our Association voted in favour of a special resolution to change the name of the Association to FESPA Australia.

FESPA Global Print Expo’s status as the leading international exhibition for speciality print and signage remains unchallenged, as the May 2019 event welcomed 20,780 individual visitors from 137 countries over the course of four days (Messe München, 14 – 17 May 2019).

FESPA announces that the flagship Global Print Expo will return to Munich, Germany in 2021, together with its co-located event for non-printed signage, European Sign Expo. The events will run for four days, from 18 to 21 May 2021.
