Fujifilm is pleased to announce that it will host a first-of-its-kind, in-person event on 9th and 10th November, at its award-winning ink R&D and manufacturing site in Broadstairs, Kent, to showcase and demonstrate its Acuity wide format range.

Fujifilm Europe is pleased to announce the appointment of Ralf Petersen as Workflow & Solution Consultant, Packaging, EMEA, reporting to Manuel Schrutt, Head of Packaging. Petersen will be based within the sales department, where he will be responsible for assessing customer workflow needs and managing the integration of end-to-end solutions, from workflow to finishing, considering both Fujifilm and third-party partners’ solutions.

Based in Slough, Berkshire, Vario Press is a marketing agency founded in 1970. Fujifilm today announced that its Revoria Press PC1120 has earned the Keypoint Intelligence ‘Buyers Lab 2022 Pro Award’ in the ‘Outstanding High-Volume CMYK+ Production Device’ category.

Following the success of the first Peak Performance Print Experience in 2021, Fujifilm will host a second event on the 28th September 2022 at the Fujifilm Advanced Print Technology Centre, Brussels. Fujifilm brought its ‘Blueprint’ concept for wide format to life at FESPA 2022, resulting in an exhibition stand that was packed with visitors from start to finish, with the company’s preparations for the exhibition supported by longstanding partnerships with The Equinox Group and Fokina.

Fujifilm Europe is pleased to announce the appointment of Karl Borsky as Category Manager, Analogue Packaging, EMEA, reporting to Manuel Schrutt, Head of Packaging, Fujifilm EMEA. Within this role, Borsky will manage all analogue products across the entire Fujifilm product portfolio applicable for packaging applications including flexo inks, printing plates and curing systems. Borsky will support Fujifilm customers, prospects, partners and sales teams with all technical and product related topics. Additionally, he will manage and grow Fujifilm’s partner network for these respective product ranges to allow the Fujifilm sales teams to offer full end-to-end solutions to its customers.

Color-Logic has certified FUJIFILM Business Innovation Australia as the first Color-Logic Demonstration Center in Australasia. Commenting on the certification, Mark Geeves, Color-Logic Director of Sales and Marketing, said: "Color-Logic has worked with FUJIFILM Business Innovation Australia for several years to ensure the successful integration of the Color-Logic metallics process on Fujifilm printing devices. Recently, the FUJIFILM Business Innovation Australia epicenterTM supplied samples off their Revoria PressTM PC1120 printed on metallic stock with White Dry ink that were spectacular, both in regard to print quality and in the ability to reproduce Color-Logic embellishments and metallic colors."

Soyang Europe, a leading manufacturer and distributor of digitally printable wide-format and superwide-format media and surface coverings has announced its acquisition of Josero.

Fujifilm has agreed a partnership with Soyang to sell the Acuity Ultra R2 in the UK market. The agreement marks the start of a new venture for Soyang, a highly respected wide format materials supplier, now looking to leverage that expertise to enter into hardware sales.

The company becomes the first commercial offset print business in France to install the Fujifilm Jet Press 750S High Speed model, citing increased customer demand for short-run, fast turnaround work.

Fujifilm today (17th May) announces the launch of the Activ Hybrid LED UV curing system, which can be installed on new presses or retrofit to existing equipment by label and packaging converters. The system combines the latest, high power, low heat LED UV curing technologies with Fujifilm's ink expertise to improve label production on narrow web presses. It enables traditional UV or water-based flexo presses to be seamlessly converted to LED UV curing, resulting in significant environmental savings, cost and material savings and increased productivity and quality.

Ahead of their appearance at FESPA, under the banner 'Blueprint Live' Fujifilm's Acuity Prime and Acuity Ultra R2 wide format printers have each won iF Design awards.

With 13 dealer agreements in 7 European countries already agreed, Fujifilm is on the hunt for more partnerships to help boost its Acuity Prime sales even further. To help achieve this, the company has appointed Colm Garvey as its European Dealer Manager for wide format products.

Fujifilm's 2021-22 fiscal year was its best ever for Jet Press sales globally, while the early success of its newly launched Revoria range in selected European territories further enhances its growing credentials as a market leader in commercial digital print.

Fujifilm has formed an extensive strategic partnership with MCA Digital, a highly respected print solutions provider in Italy. Fujifilm's new Revoria Press PC1120 is a particular focus of the relationship, with MCA Digital's salesforce and contact network ideally placed to launch this machine into the Italian market.
