Mimaki Europe, the leading manufacturer of inkjet printing, cutting and 3D printing technologies, today announces the launch of their brand-new pure clear material for 3D printing, called MH-110PCL. Created with designers in mind, this new clear material is intended for use with Mimaki’s flagship UV curable, full colour 3D printer, the 3DUJ-553. Available from May 2022, the release of this clear material aligns with Mimaki’s objective to be at the forefront of innovation in the industry, and wholly boost customer satisfaction.

Mimaki Europe will showcase its latest innovative technologies, and connect with customers at FESPA 2022 Global Printing Expo (May 31st – June 3rd Berlin, Germany, Hall 1.2 Stand 1.2-A30). Following the success of FESPA 2021, the first major European tradeshow for Mimaki post-COVID-19, Mimaki will return as a gold sponsor for this landmark industry event. With a host of new solutions released this year, FESPA 2022 will be the first opportunity for Mimaki to demonstrate these printers and cutters at an international event and further explain the many benefits they offer sign and textile printing companies.

Diversify in 2022

April 29, 2022

It doesn’t take an entrepreneurial expert to know that the world of business is constantly changing. Consumer habits change, technology improves and both the consumer world, and the business-to-business market, can change rapidly. So how can your business stay steady in this turbulent landscape? Evolve and diversify.

The new Mimaki 3DUJ-2207 full colour 3D printer will feature on UK and Ireland distributor, Hybrid Services’ stand at the TCT 3Sixty exhibition, to be held at the NEC in June 2022.

Mimaki Europe, the leading manufacturer of inkjet printers and cutting systems, has announced the market-leading technologies, including the JFX600-2513, UJF-MkII e Series, 3DUJ-2207 and CJV330-160 from the 330 Series, that will all be on show at their stand (Stand 2G34) during the Salon C!Print event (10-12 May, Lyon, France). This marks the French debut of Mimaki’s most recently launched printers, all developed with the company’s renowned focus on delivering business-enhancing, high-quality, high-value applications.

The Mimaki cutting plotter that’s in regular use at Sign & Design (Somerset) Ltd still looks as good as the day the company bought it, according to owner, Paul Dinsdale. Considering that date was in the late 1990s and the cutter is used almost daily, that’s some claim!

All sectors, from automotive to aerospace to printing are entering into a new era coined “Industry 4.0”, representative of a more streamlined approach to production by utilising state of the art technologies to keep up with the increase in demand. The printing industry has focused in on one aspect of Industry 4.0 in particular, “automation”, to better connect printing technology and allow for a more seamless transition from when a customer places an order to its’ delivery. With its clear long-term benefits, this change is already happening in the industry – in Keypoint Intelligence’s Software Investment Outlook 2020-21, researchers found that more companies were investing in automation in these past two years, particularly to fulfil the large amount of smaller jobs [1].

Mimaki Europe, a leading manufacturer of inkjet printers and cutting systems, has announced their unique and innovative 3D printing solutions will be on show at their stand (Stand B05) during the 3D Print Lyon event (5-7 April, Lyon, France). The event marks the French debut of the smaller-format, full colour 3D printing solution – the 3DUJ-2207.

Wiltshire-based Digital 23 has purchased a Mimaki UJV55-320 from CMYUK. The 3.2m-wide UV LED roll-to-roll printer investment has enabled the business to now print all its textile work in-house, and provides a versatile platform from which it can expand into new markets.

Exclusive Mimaki distributor, Hybrid Services Ltd will give the new Mimaki JFX600-2513 LED-UV large-format flatbed inkjet printer its UK and Ireland debut at Sign & Digital UK later this month. Designed to address the high-volume UV market, the JFX600 will be among the raft of new Mimaki solutions to be shown for the first time at the exhibition in Birmingham. Engineered for high speeds and high productivity, the new flatbed offers print service providers a broader variety of applications thanks to a wider range of ink types and increased media flexibility.

With a 30 year history striping and detailing Minis, Sean Beeston’s heritage working with the iconic automobile brand as a sign maker is unique, and investment in a Mimaki CJV150 printer/cutter has fuelled the Stripes & Graphics business; developing new product lines, expanding the team and attracting new customers.

Mimaki has announced that it will be hosting its second ‘Global Innovation Days’ virtual event on the 2-4 March 2022. Bringing customers, partners, and industry peers together for yet another inspiring networking and educational experience, the second instalment of Mimaki’s popular event will feature 3-days of webinars and interactive virtual sessions under the theme ‘Technology Innovations’.

Hybrid Services, Mimaki’s exclusive distributor for the UK and Ireland, returns to the Sign & Digital UK exhibition with a raft of new product launches from the Japanese manufacturer. Sporting products from across its range, Hybrid will be the first stand that visitors see thanks to its location at the very entrance to the show.

Hampshire Flag has invested in a Mimaki JFX 200-2513 EX UV LED flatbed printer from CMYUK. The investment coincides with the company’s 40th anniversary and marks a new chapter in its history.

With the all-important COP26 Climate Change Conference having taken centre stage in November, there is no time like the present for the fashion world to rally together in stepping up sustainability efforts and getting carbon emissions under control. Globally, the fashion industry is now estimated to account for around 10 percent of greenhouse gas emissions and 20 percent of wastewater[1], making the pursuit of greener production methods more pertinent than ever before. Thankfully, we are seeing a new era of production enter the fashion arena, with the increasing emergence of technologically advanced, highly automated microfactories.

The way we live, work, and engage with the world around us is being significantly reshaped by the global pandemic. From a print industry perspective, the versatility of UV LED technology gives print service providers an edge when it comes to being ready for the demands of the day.

Mimaki, the leading brand of wide-format inkjet printers and cutting plotters, will have their long-missed meeting with the Turkish market at FESPA Eurasia 2021. Mimaki Eurasia will exhibit the new models, as well as other printing and cutting solutions that have gained great popularity in the market, at their booths A20 / B20 / C20 / D20 in Hall 10 at the exhibition to be held at IFM on December, 2-5. Mimaki Eurasia will take part in the exhibition with an eye-catching booth concept coloured with various applications, and will also attract visitors with its exhibition area consisting of printed objects produced by their users.

Dizzy Duck Designs has installed a Mimaki UCJV300–160 UV printer and Easymount laminator from CMYUK. The new equipment was purchased to handle current demand and factor in future company growth.

Sign & Digital UK (SDUK) today announces registration is open for its much-anticipated return to the NEC, Birmingham, with Roland DG, Epson, Premier Paper, Hybrid Services/Mimaki, Hexis, The Magic Touch, Trotec Laser, PrintMAX, William Smith Group 1832, Grafityp, Zund Plotting Systems, Signwaves, Inktec Europe, Perspex Distribution and Your Print Specialists amongst the brands confirmed for the show.

The productivity and creative benefits of adding 3D printing to almost any model-making business are clear, but the cost and complexity of the process can often be a barrier. With the launch of Mimaki’s complete and affordable 3D printing solution - comprising the Mimaki 3DUJ-2207, 3D Print prep Pro software and the 3DCS-322 post-processing unit – the end-to-end 3D printing process is now easier to implement and operate than ever before, making the dream of adding full colour 3D printing now a reality.

Mimaki Europe, the leading manufacturer of inkjet printers and cutting systems, has announced that its new technologies to be launched at Formnext 2021 (16-19 November, Hall 12.1, Stand G21) will offer a complete 3D printing solution designed to streamline and optimise 3D model production with increased automation. As a result, these new technologies aim to further accelerate the adoption of high-quality, full-colour 3D printing.
