Originally started as a reprographic printer in 1990, a stone’s throw from Charles de Gaulle airport, Roissy Copy took its first step towards large format printing in 2008. At the time, managing director Patrick Boudaud invested in a Fujifilm Acuity flatbed in order to tap into new markets, which the company has been successfully serving ever since.

SAS (Special Art Services) Graphics of Hove, East Sussex, is already seeing significant improvements in productivity and business opportunity following the installation of its latest investment, an Acuity Select X28 flatbed printer from Fujifilm that was installed in October 2016.

Based in the town of Winterswijk in the east of the Netherlands, family-run printer, DEKALU, has doubled production capacity and seen output soar after adding an Acuity F wide format flatbed printer to its production suite.

Fujifilm has announced the release of its new high speed Acuity Select HS 30 series, capable of printing up to 57.6 m2 per hour - nearly double the speed of the Acuity Select 20 series.

Fujifilm UK will host an open house from 27th to 29th September at their headquarters in Bedford - giving UK printers who did not make it to Drupa the opportunity to see first-hand some of the new Fujifilm products on display.

Augustus Martin has boosted its flatbed inkjet printer fleet following a visit to Drupa where the company ordered two Onset X2’s and an Onset X3 from exclusive distributor Fujifilm.

Fujifilm Corporation has announced that it is adding to its Acuity LED wide-format inkjet printer portfolio with the forthcoming launch of the Acuity LED 3200R, or to be precise, an OEM Mimaki UJV55-320. The company intends to show the printer at Drupa with plans for it to be commercially available in the middle of 2016.

Fujifilm has provided further details of its new Acuity Select 20 series printers in the run up to FESPA Digital in Amsterdam. These new printers will replace the Acuity Advance Select series.

Yorkshire-based AB Print Group has become the latest commercial printer to invest in an Acuity LED 1600 UV wide format printer, which will enable it to keep ahead of customer demands and meet all print requirements in-house without the need for outsourcing.

Northumberland based Potts Print, a highly-regarded litho printer with a proud history in the North East spanning nearly a century and a half, recently expanded into wide format digital printing and has since installed two Fujifilm Acuity machines – an Acuity F flatbed and a roll-fed Acuity LED 1600 II.

Graphics Works has purchased three additional Fujifilm Acuity 1600 LED UV hybrid inkjet wide format printers following the success of its first foray into the LED UV ink market in January 2015 with its first Acuity LED printer.

Fujifilm has today announced it is launching a series of one-day Corrugated Summits to be held in November and December 2015 at its UK production facility in Broadstairs, Kent. The series of summits -each one focused on a specific territory - will demonstrate how investing in UV inkjet technology can help increase production flexibility, efficiency and profitability as well as open up new opportunities in the packaging and corrugated sectors. A key focus of the Summits will be the new Onset X Series, and how this industry-leading platform can add value to corrugated printing.

Wide format inkjet ink manufacturer Fujifilm Speciality Ink Systems (FSIS) has scooped two prestigious awards for its Broadstairs production facility at the Best Factory Awards. The company walked off with both the Export award and, for the third year running, Best Process Plant award.

Kicking off our new UV/LED printing category is Fujifilm who says its Uvistar Pro8 roll-fed printer has proved itself a star performer for eco-substrate innovator, Aria Print Centres – the creator and manufacturer of ARIA-FLEX, a PE (polyethylene) environmentally friendly fabric ideal for banners, billboards, signs and displays.

Fujifilm UK today announces that it will be holding informal, educational ‘How to’ demonstrations focussed on creative printing over three days from September 22nd – 24th at its headquarters in Bedford. Workshops will showcase applications that printers may not have thought of for their businesses, and provide fresh ideas on how to generate new revenue streams from printing.

A large number of inks within the Fujifilm Uvijet UV range for wide format print applications have been approved for Nordic Swan Ecolabelled printers. These include: Uvijet KI, KV, OZ, OB, OL, OW, QN, WH, WI and LL.

Fujifilm has continued its FESPA announcements with the launch four new euromedia products today.

Fujifilm has announced the launch of an advanced new UV ink technology at FESPA 2015, called Uvijet OW. The newly launched ink range, which is used in the Inca Onset series, has been developed specifically with improved adhesion properties so that it can be used on a wider range of rigid and flexible plastic substrates.
