Ipswich based food safety compliance equipment supplier, Klipspringer has installed a swissQprint Impala 4 to enhance printing of its personalised printed products and build its reputation as a 'one stop safety partner' for customers.

Klipspringer produces over 10,000 m2 of print per annum, including customised equipment storage solutions for the safe and compliant organisation of equipment as part of its portfolio of products in the food manufacturing, storage, hospitality, and safety sectors.

With demand increasing, and its existing printer no longer offering the productivity or reliability required, the team at Klipspringer began to review its options. Having previously benefitted from using Swiss-built cutting technology within its production, the renowned performance and reliability of swissQprint made it the obvious point of contact.

Meeting challenging criteria

The replacement had to meet a number of new performance criteria, including increased productivity, efficiency, sustainability, and reliability – a true challenge.

When we began our due diligence and research to find the perfect match, we had little expectation that we would be able to find a machine that achieved it all," said Ambrose Carlyon, Klipspringer's Operations Director. "But we were clearly wrong!"

swissQprint Impala 4 delivers quality and precision for Klipspringer

It became clear that swissQprint's Impala 4, with its 2.5 metre print width and 1350 dpi print resolution was the ideal solution for the business.

Quality and performance

Since installation this January, the Impala has provided significant improvements in productivity, reliability, and operational convenience, ensuring the highest possible print quality is achieved. The intuitive and simple to operate Impala has also provided Klipspringer with greater flexibility and autonomy in printing for customers. In addition, with its ISO energy rating of 2.2 kWh, the Impala 4 ensures the print process is as energy efficient as possible. This combination of performance and sustainability has made the Impala a keystone in Klipspringer's production platform.

It was a pleasure to collaborate closely with Klipspringer to identify the Impala as meeting their needs, and its very rewarding to see how many areas of their business it has had a positive impact on."

Pete Smallwood, Sales Manager at swissQprint

Carlyon concluded: "swissQprint's Impala has both increased our productivity and efficiency with its double row of print heads, while delivering superb print results. We are delighted with its impact and can genuinely say that the Impala 4 is the complete package."
