With the installation of the HP Latex R1000 Plus, MMP has reduced turnaround times, resulting in additional capacity which MMP is using to fulfill current demand levels. The HP Latex R1000 Plus offers improved flexibility and access to new applications, helping to avoid costly operating errors with an easy interface. As well as this, HP’s Latex inks remove the need for drying time, resulting in significant time savings, and reductions in labor costs.

“We can now print volume signs at a lower cost, with a quicker turnaround time, by eliminating vinyl mounting which also means we have more production capacity,” added Danny.

HP Latex White Ink is the whitest white on the market and has opened a new world of applications for MMP, allowing the print service provider to stay competitive whilst keeping sustainability at the forefront of its production.

The HP Latex R1000 series runs on the fourth generation of HP Latex ink, which consists of up to 65% water and is designed to avoid the hazards associated with eco-solvent and UV inks. Furthermore, the Latex portfolio uses carton-based cartridges – made predominantly from cardboard, these new types of cartridges are compatible with all of HP’s Latex devices, reducing plastic usage by 80% and carbon emissions by 60%.
