Canon Solutions America, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Canon U.S.A., Inc., have announced the launch of the new Océ PrintSight software developed by Canon Solutions America to provide print-for-pay businesses an effective tool to monitor their Océ Arizona, Océ Colorado, and Océ ColorWave printers.

Potsdam-based signage and décor specialist, Print1, became one of the first Canon customers in Europe to install Océ Touchstone following its launch in May 2018 and is already realising the benefits of being able to deliver high value textured applications. The company, a long-standing Océ Arizona flatbed user, was looking to differentiate its services from larger competitors in the greater Berlin area, and to expand its product portfolio with more unique and customised applications.

Canon U.S.A., have announced that Copiers Northwest, a provider of office technology products and services, has reported more than 300 percent growth in large format print volume since the installation of the Océ Colorado 1640 printer this past summer. A leader in office automation and managed print services in the Pacific Northwest, Copiers Northwest has served businesses throughout the region for more than 25 years.

Just over a year since the 64 inch roll-to-roll printer began shipping commercially in EMEA, the technology has been positively embraced by hundreds of print businesses, with over 400 placements in EMEA. Customer usage data from across the EMEA installed base shows that print service providers (PSPs) are using the printer’s capabilities to diversify and access new opportunities, by increasing overall productivity to handle growing output volumes, working with challenging heat-sensitive media, eliminating waiting time between print and finishing, and reducing the need for additional lamination.
