Fujifilm India Private Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary of Fujifilm Holdings Corporation) says it has launched its first ever ’made in India’ eco solvent printer - the Vybrant 1800 - that has been specifically designed to provide the value for money proposition that Indian customers wanted.

Mimaki has announced a new JFX200-2531 flatbed printer for 2017 with a print area twice the size of its predecessor and a unique “toggle print” function that increases productivity and improves continuous running capability by allowing operators to load one board while another is printing.

Mimaki has unveiled two new UJF printer models at Viscom Paris, which takes place from 6 to 8 September in Paris. The UJF-3042 MkII and the UJF-6042 MkII are the latest generation of UV flatbed printers from Mimaki, replacing earlier models UJF-3042HG and UJF-6042, respectively.

Mimaki says it is adding value to the print production process with three new software solutions that drive accurate brilliant colour, attracting attention in an ever-more-colourful world with the Artista Textile Color Collection, Mimaki Profile Master 3 (MPM3) for advanced printer profiling, and RasterLink6 Version 5.0. All are designed to help printers deliver accurate, repeatable colour across multiple devices and locations.

FASTSIGNS franchise owner Mark Davies has put the pedal to the metal by reaching a podium finish in a Ginetta Supercup car race. Davies recently finished third in the Ginetta Supercup’s race at Oulton Park racing track and is on course for more success as the competition continues.

Dublin based Addprint Ltd has invested in a Mimaki CJV300-160 printer/cutter to further enhance PoS applications. The printer was supplied by authorised Mimaki reseller Reprocentre.
